How soon will I get my compensation?

This will depend on various factors, not least, in how soon your doctors are able to offer a prognosis regarding your recovery from your injuries. Your solicitor is unlikely to advise you to settle your road traffic accident claim until your doctors are able to say how well you will be able to recover from your injuries.

However, this does not mean that you cannot receive any money until the claim is settled - in situations, as in where money is required to meet the costs of medical treatment and other expenses, your solicitors should be able to arrange for an Interim Payment to be made to you.
