Personal Injury Solicitors and the Law SocietyThe Law Society is the representative and regulatory body for solicitors of England and Wales. In order to practice, all solicitors must have a Practising Certificate, which is issued by the Law Society on an annual basis. Currently there are over 85,000 solicitors on the Roll. The Law Society's headquarters are in London, but it also has offices in Redditch, Worcestershire and in Leamington Spa which houses the Office for the Supervision of Solicitors. There are regional offices in Preston, Cambridge, Bristol and Wakefield, and an office in Wales, Cardiff. The Society also has an office in Brussels.
