Legal Expenses Insurance

It is claimed that most of
the UK's 24 million motorists (Motoring
Magazine) pay at least £15 a year for unnecessary
legal expenses
insurance cover
for personal
injury. According to the Accident Relief Campaign (ARC), a drivers' charity, the cover is totally unnecessary
- the money goes straight into the
coffers of the insurance companies as
in practice, they are seldom, if
ever, required
to pay out. This is because, since
2000, almost all personal injury
claims are taken on by solicitors on a
"No Win,
No Fee" basis.
